TENNIS AT PAPAKURA
CLUB NIGHT:
Held on Tuesdays from 6.30pm and open to all Tennis Club Members. This event is run by a fantastic tennis committee and this is a great way to meet people and become more involved in the club. Players of all levels are welcome.
FRIDAY NIGHT TENNIS:
Held every Friday from 6pm - 9pm. Free event for all members of the community to attend. The bar & lounge are open for this event, so once you are finished having a hit come on up for a game or two of pool & catch up on some televised live sport.
VETS TENNIS:
Held on Friday mornings from 8.30am - 10.30am. All abilities welcome! Free for members & $5 per session for non-members. Come down for a hit, stay for morning tea & a game or two of pool.
CLUB CHAMPS:
Tennis Club Champs is held annually for Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles. Members of that season are eligible to play in this event. Winners get their names up on the Papakura Tennis & Squash Club Honours board.
INTERCLUB:
For the more serious players, we have a number of tennis Interclub teams in the Auckland Tennis competition for seniors & Counties Tennis competition for juniors.
Senior Summer Interclub starts in mid September and winter in late April/May.
Junior Interclub is on a Saturday in October/November and then February/March.
To see what team would be best suit you speak to a tennis committee member.
JUNIOR COACHING / CLUB NIGHT:
Junior Club Night is held on a Friday during terms 1 and 4 and includes basic group coaching and fun games. This is complimentary to all club members.
Junior small group coaching sessions are also offered in terms 1 and 4 on a Tuesday & Thursday.
Beginner - 3.30pm - 4.30pm - Intermediate - 4.30pm - 5.30pm
Advanced - 5.30pm - 6.30 pm - Elite - 6.30pm - 7.30pm
All subscriptions for the current season must be paid before attending these sessions
