Ladder night is a social in house event run every Thursday evening. This is a free event for members / $5 per night for non-members. Everyone who enters gets one scheduled match per night. This is a week by week commitment, the squash committee usually reach out on a Sunday to see who would like to participate in the following weeks ladder & draw is released on a Tuesday night. Ladder night is open to all abilities. 

It's a great opportunity to meet other players around your grade, and make sure you head up to the bar afterwards for a few drinks and something to eat.



Interclub is an opportunity for graded players to have weekly competitive matches against players from clubs. The teams are divided into men's, woman's & master's competitions, and divisions are made depending on the team's point average from the grading list. 

Interclub is a great way to get a regular game and meet fellow players from around Auckland. You must be on the grading list to be eligible to play.



Throughout the year Papakura hosts 4 graded tournaments. These tournaments include our Masters / Doubles, A2 & Below, Open & Ladies. You must be on the grading list to enter these. Tournaments usually run from Thursday through to Saturday, with dinner & prize giving to follow the finals. 

There are also a number of in house events throughout the year that all members & non-members can get involved in. This includes Business House, Women in Squash & Calcutta. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to find out when we are running these events. 



Superchamps is the biggest competition on the Squash calendar.

The District and National Superchamps events are played to identify the strongest club in the country for each grade. Teams are composed of five players per club that are in the same grade (B, C, D, E and F/J for both men and women). At the District Superchamps clubs in a single district play off to find the district champion in each grade. The district champion is then eligible to travel to the National Superchamps finals to play off for the national title. 

District Superchamps is usually played the last week of July. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in this event. 




Squash Club Champs is held annually for all grades. Members of that season are eligible to play in this event. Open winners get their names up on the Papakura Tennis & Squash Club Honours board. 



Junior Club Night is held on a Thursday during terms 2 and 3 and includes basic group coaching and fun games. This is complimentary to all club members.

Junior small group coaching sessions are also offered in terms 2 and 3 on a Wednesday / Thursday.

Wednesday: Beginner - 3.30pm - 4.30pm - Intermediate - 4.30pm - 5.30pm - Advanced - 5.30pm - 6.30 pm 

Thursday: Elite - 6.30pm - 7.30pm

All subscriptions for the current season must be paid before attending these sessions
